| Michael Johnson began playing
guitar over 20 years ago, and has played with such area bands as Junk
& HigherGround. In addition to playing with area bands, Mike has
played all across the Midwest opening for such acts as Bullet Boys,
Warrant, Slaughter, Foghat, and Firehouse. During this time Mike has
recorded three CD’S and is currently in the studio working on another
project. Having spent the last 17 years teaching Mike has the
experience and expertise to instruct both the beginner and the advanced
student. A graduate from Bismarck State College Mike specializes in
rock guitar styles, improvisation, ear training, and song writing.
Students can also gain instruction in advanced theory, composition,

Nick Ehrhardt has been playing guitar
for 12 years, ever since he was 12 years old. Having taken guitar lessons
for 5 years from local instructor and session musician, Bill Pope, Nick
has studied music theory, ear training, improvisation, and is fluid in
many flat-picking and finger picking techniques. He has been influenced by
artists such as Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Dave Brubeck, and Jimmy
Bruno, with musical genres ranging from rock to classical to jazz. Nick
welcomes students ages 9 and up from any influence and has a very flexible
approach to teaching that revolves around the individual student. Nick has
toured the midwest with Ben Suchy and also played lead guitar with Buffalo
Alice for two and a half years. Nick is currently playing with one of

Kristin Kitko holds a bachelor’s degree in education and has been teaching and performing nationally for over 20 years. Kris offers lessons to students of all ages, levels and abilities in guitar, piano, bass guitar, and percussion. Using a mixture of her own curriculum and other prepared materials, she teaches rock, jazz, classical, folk/country, and blues. In her instruction, Kris covers note reading, chords, ear training, music theory, and songwriting. For the younger student, she incorporates music games to foster the student’s natural desire to participate in active, energized learning. At her studio, students have the opportunity to record themselves singing/playing and to bring home their own CD—for no extra charge. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the big Kittyko Spring Show and other events throughout the city, if they’d like. When performing for kids, Kris is known as “Kittyko.” She has released two critically-acclaimed CDs for children which are used in school systems nationwide. | Brad Stockert earned a B.S. in
Music Education from the University of Mary. He has taught privately since
1991, focusing on snare drum, drum set, and mallets. He has been playing
professionally as long as he can remember. He plays and teaches a wide
