Burke Racing Dakota Classic Tour

Nathan is off to a decent start to the Tour with the Stock Car. A second place on opening night in Rugby and a WIN on night 2 in Minot. The mod was also run in Minot but Nathan was unable to make the feature. The rest of the tour just the stock car will be run.

With warmer weather FINALLY being steady enough to get some weekly racing in, Burke Racing is off to an up and down start. This year Nathan is piloting both the IMCA Stock Car AS WELL AS an IMCA Modified. He has racked up 2 feature wins in the Stock Car and recently finished 2nd in the Modified feature.






Supernationals Finals

After waiting out the week for the BIG race, Nathan started inside the 3rd row for the feature. In typical Supernationals racing, there was a lot of contact and cautions. After all the dust had cleared Nathan ended up with a 21st place finish.






Supernationals Updates

Tuesday Sept 4

Race of Champions qualifying - 5th in heat. Next time on track will be Saturday for the pole dash and then the A-Main.

Monday Sept 3 

Finished first in our heat, which was the very first Stock Car heat race of this years Supernationals. In the feature Nathan crossed the line second securing a spot in Saturday nights show. Tuesday will bring Race of Champions qualifing.






Regular Season Wrap Up

The regular season came to a close with Nodak Speedway tonight, August 26th. Nathan finished in 6th position on the night but with that finish he wrapped up his 3rd track championship of the year. Friday night he took home the hardware in Estevan for track champion and had already taken home the championship in Rugby a few weeks back. Thanks to all of this years sponsors and fans for their support all year long. Next weekend Burke Racing heads to Boone, Ia for the 25th Annual IMCA Supernationals which run September 3rd - 8th to wrap up our season.






One Down, Two to Go?

With the season coming to a close at Geographical Speedway in Rugby this past Friday, Nathan achieved his first of possibly 3 track championships. The regular season wraps up Friday in Estevan and Sunday in Minot. In Estevan Nathan holds a 5 point lead and an even smaller 3 point lead in Minot. When the dust settles after what should be a very exciting weekend, Burke racing prepares for the IMCA Supernationls in Boone, Ia September 3-8.

With a majority of the year past and only a handful of regular shows left, Burke Racing has had a good year. Nathan currently holds the points lead at 2 of the 3 regular tracks the 97 hits weekly. With 1 night left at Geographical Center Speedway in Rugby we have a 3 point lead over Robbie Rosselli. With 1 regular night left at Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan there is 5 point lead over Randy Fyllesvold. And at our home track, Nodak Speedway in Minot we trail Randy by 6 points with 3 regular nights remaining. Hopefully all goes well the last few weeks. After all regular season racing is wrapped up comes the IMCA Supernationals in Boone, Ia Sept 3 - 8.  Having hit the track 21 times so far this year Burke Racing stands at 15 wins, 3 top 5 , 1 top 10, and also 1 12th and 18th place finishes.






Nodak July 8

With the Dakota Classic Modified Tour hitting Nodak, Nathan not only ran the stock car but also the #5 mod of Rick Vondall. The stock car feature brought another win however the mod didn't seem to run well and missed the feature.
