The 22nd Annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour--with IMCA Stocks--have finalized their dates and locations for the 2011 series. For the first time Stock Cars will race the same dates and locations as the Modifieds.

After a year off building a new $15 million grandstand Minot will once again kick off the series on Sunday, July 10, at the ND State Fairgrounds. On Monday, July 11, the series heads north of the border at Estevan, SK and Estevan Motor Speedway. Tuesday, July 12, its the Williston Basin Speedway in Williston, ND that hosts the Tour. Dickinson and its Southwest Speedway has the double header this year on Wednesday/Thursday, July 13-14. The Tour wraps up its six consecutive day run with Championship Night for both classes at Mandan's Dacotah Speedway on Friday July 15.

A record payout has been increased once again for the IMCA Modifieds and the feature line-up will be increased by two so that 26 cars can now qualify at all venues in the series. Modifieds will now get a mimimum of $300 to start the feature, with $1200 paid to win each event. Stock cars will receive $500 to win each night with a bonus structure built in for over 30 cars. Pit fees and a low driver entry fee have stayed the same once again.

In keeping with the Tour's cutting edge use of technology, raceceivers and electronic scoring transponders will be used at all tracks to lineup and score all races. The same procedures and IMCA rules will be used at all tracks. Drivers are encouraged to get motel reservations early as all tracks surround the busy Baaken oil fields.
