This season has it's ups and downs for the 97 team. The ups being the 7 wins in the Stock Car the downs being the Modified program. After not running a Mod through May, Nathan stepped into the #5 car for a night in June and again on the 4th of July weekend with less than stellar finishes. The first night of Dakota Classic Modified Tour Nathan got behind the wheel of the #97 numbered team car of Ben Seidler, which he will pilot the whole tour. Out of 70 cars entered he was able to make it into the 24 car feature where he finished 15th. |

With the outlook for racing at Nodak this weekend not good, Nathan took to the track at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan Friday June 5, piloting the #5 car of Rick Vondall. He placed 3rd in the heat and 5th in the feature. Dacotah Speedway utilizes the transponder system which not only keeps track of position but also lap times. Nathan's quickest lap of the night was 18.88 seconds at a speed of 71.474 MPH.

Even though the car went into the trailer missing a few body parts it wasn't all that bad of a thing. After a bit of a basher of a feature, Nathan was able to make his way to the front of the pack to cross the line first when the checkers waved. |
